Abraham Martinez

CFP®, MBA, ADPA
Founder

Abraham began his professional career in social services assisting individuals with developmental disabilities find meaningful employment in the community. After multiple years of being at the discretion of the government’s budget, he began to look at other career paths.  Enjoying assisting others, while also having a hobby of researching what to do with his own finances, led him to the financial planning profession.

After successfully completing his MBA and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation, he still considers himself a student of the industry from client services to business management. He enjoys understanding the history of the field while staying current with the ever changing financial and legal landscape.

Abraham is active in the community serving on multiple boards, including being on the Board of Directors of the Financial Planning Association for the San Francisco Chapter. Prior to reaching his planning goal of running his own Registered Investment Advisory firm, Abraham was a financial planner and chief operating officer at an advisory firm that consistently ranked in the top 1% at their broker-dealer of over 10,000 advisors. Eventually he assisted it to become its own independent advisory firm, as well. Throughout that time period he also led the firm’s investment management committee and spearheaded the planning solutions as well.

Outside of work, Abraham enjoys spending time with his two school-aged daughters whether it is volunteering at their school or enjoying new experiences with them.
